Welcome!

Thanks for checking out my website! My Group- Larid Research and Conservation is born out of a desire to see academic research be incorporated into current adaptive wildlife management initiatives. Land and conservation managers often have gaps in knowledge of specific species and habitats which complicates development of future strategies which need to have flexibility to address current and future changes in the environment. It is a priority of LRC to help conservationists and land managers to translate pure research into effective management and conservation initiatives at local and regional scales. My colleagues are a community of scientists, managers, and landowners who are dedicated to understanding the effects of climate change and impacts to their communities. Aside from my research focus on the coastal environment, I am also an amateur photographer, gardener, and baker. Most of the photos on my website are my own work.
